Terrence W. Porter, M.S.

Vice President, Marketing & Sales Promotion

Terrence Porter is Vice President of Marketing and Sales Promotion for The Building Blocks. In addition to educating the general public, corporations and media regarding the mission and efficacy of The Building Blocks, Terrence is also involved in facilitating various Building Block Training Programs. Terrence is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology as a C.L.A.S. Fellow. Terrence's main research interests include helping athletes effectively cope with stress and anxiety in sport through mental skills training and empowering African American children to succeed academically and socially and increase their levels of self-esteem.

Terrence is a University of Notre Dame Academic Scholar and a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholar, earning his BA in Psychology. While at Notre Dame, Terrence was a prominent leader on campus and in the community, serving as the president of a student organization and co-founding a community-based tutoring and mentoring program. At Miami (OH) University, Terrence earned his MS in Sport Performance and Behavior and he was inducted into the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for his excellence as a scholar and researcher.

Terrence also serves as President of PLAY LIKE A CHAMPION, a consulting company dedicated to enhancing the performance and facilitating the personal growth of athletes by developing and strengthening their mental and emotional skills and capacities.
